Akshith Dass, PharmD, MPH, BCPS, BCIDP
Dr. Dass is an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the College of Pharmacy of Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), in Rootstown, OH and a pharmacy clinical specialist at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a Master of Public Health focused on Health Policy and Management from Kent State University College of Public Health. He completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center and a PGY-2 in infectious diseases pharmacy at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center. His areas of interest include treatment of infections caused by Gram negative bacteria, optimizing antimicrobial use at a population level, and educating the next generation of pharmacists.
