Madeline King, PharmD, MPH, BCIDP

Dr. Madeline King is a Board‑Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacist who earned her PharmD from Texas A&M, completed a pharmacy residency at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, and an infectious diseases residency at Temple University. She spent six years as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, earning a teaching award and recognition for public health research in Guatemala. She is now co-director of outpatient antimicrobial stewardship at Cooper University Healthcare and recently completed an MPH from the University of Edinburgh. She helped develop CUHC’s multidisciplinary Complex Outpatient Antimicrobial Therapy (COpAT) program and is expanding stewardship efforts across ambulatory sites. Her interests include outpatient stewardship, infectious diseases education, penicillin allergy management, and global health. She has published widely, contributed to textbook chapters, and speaks nationally on stewardship and COpAT.
