Samuel Snowaert, PharmD, BCOP, MBA
Samuel Snowaert is a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist at Covenant Cancer Care Center in Saginaw, MI. Through the POEM program (Pharmacists Optimizing Oncology Care Excellence in Michigan), Sam is able to provide initial education to patients in the oncology clinic, with a primary focus on oral oncology medications, but is also a resource for the cancer center for general medical oncology questions. Sam monitors patients on oral oncology medications via regularly scheduled follow-up calls, lab ordering/monitoring, and chart review. Sam obtained his PharmD and MBA through Ferris State University. He completed PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI, and PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI. Sam has a passion for oncology education, whether it involves patients, students, residents, or other healthcare providers.
